Expect a more noisy experience during July and August as the Spanish enjoy music and fun in the evenings. Most campsites will, though, have rules about excessive noise, which generally have to be curtailed at around midnight at the latest.
Ensure that the site you plan to visit offers all the facilities and amenities you and your kids seek.
Most campsites will have the rules posted on their websites, so it's best to check before booking in case there are limitations; maybe they have specific rules for check-in times, pets, etc.
Make sure you have adequate bedding, a lot of plots in Spain are on the hard ground so ensuring a good night's sleep with a pull-out bed or blow-up mattress is advised.
Bring enough folding chairs and a table to enjoy the whole al fresco dining experience.
