Cigalas Seafood - Dublin Bay Prawn
Cigalas Seafood

Denia has a lovely marina area where sea and fishing boats come and go whilst they mark the rhythm of everyday life of the town.  There is a well preserved castle to explore, from there make your way to El Port, a line of attractive restaurants facing the port area. Most of them tend to specialise in local rice based dishes as well as Fideua which is a noodle based paella. Seafood is always a firm favourite and served in many bars and restaurants, don’t forget to try the crayfish ( known as  cigalas ) , cooked in salty water or on the griddle or barbecue they are simply delicious.

There is a helpful tourist information office located at Glorieta del Oculista Buigues 9 where you can get a free town map.  A small train runs from the tourist information office to the castle, you can check running times on the notice board outside.
