The Sevilla airport ( Aeropuerto de San Pablo ) handled some 3.8 Million passengers in 2006 which was
a healthy increase of 10% over the previous year.
Sevilla is the capital of Andalucia and southern Spain , its popularity really took off after the world Expo was held here in 1992
with a huge investment to bring the city and the surrounding areas into the 21st Century.
