La Palma Airport is situated approximately eight kilometres from the capital of the island, Santa Cruz de La Palma,

Although the La Palma airport is not as large as its big brother over in Gran Canaria it sill
handled over 1.2 Million passengers and over 21.000 Flights in 2006.
It is used mainly for internal domestic flights to and from the other Canary Islands and Madrid.
British Airways and Thomson operate flights from Dublin, Gatwick and Manchester.
