The El Chaparral Golf Course at La Cala De Mijas has the distinction of a view of the Costa del Sol from all 18 holes. Surrounded by indigenous vegetation, the wide and varied fairways and greens is the ideal place for playing or practicing golf.

It is one of the only 18 hole courses in the region with six par-3s, six par-4s and six par-5s

The El Chaparral Golf course is characterised by a pro shop, the golf driving range, a golf academy and a 150 seater bar & restaurant with conference facilities also available for up to 30 members.

The Club House of Golf El Chaparral is situated in a prominent position at the heart of the urbanisation. With panoramic views over the golf course and the sea, its position overlooking the 1st tee and 18 th green is ideal. Its situation is indeed significant, the reason being that it not only provides the normal facilities expected in a clubhouse, is confortable and functional, but in adittion to this the whole building in conceived as a beautiful viewpoint over the golf course and its surroundings.

The ClubHouse is constructed on two levels to take advantage of the natural contours. The restaurant and lounge areas, of wich there are several all providing differing levels of intimacy and ambience, are situated on the upper level. This lounge area opens out onto a large terrace overlooking the golf course and the putting green.

The changing rooms, pro shop, caddy master and usual golf course services are situated on the lower level of the clubhouse and can be accesed via a covered passage way. The ClubHouse is conceived in a Mediterranean style combining rendered white walls, antique tiled roofs and old wooden beams, allowing a pleasant balance between function and ambience. As would be expected with a building of this quality it is sure to become a pleasant place to meet and relax in, enhanced by the beauty of the landscaping which is always synonymous with courses designed by Pepe Gancedo.
