San Vicente de la Barquera offers some naturally beautiful beaches around its coastline, they are Playa del Cabo o Guerra , which is isolated and frequented by Surfers due to its strong winds and surges. Playa de Merón , This is a semi urban beach with fine white sand Playa del Rosal or Tostadero, another semi urban beach with fine golden sand. Playa de la Maza , this is a smaller beach situated just before the entrance to San Vicente, it offers fine golden sand and calm seas. Playa de la Fuente, Another smaller quiet beach with golden sands.
